One month later...

Today is Jason's first day at CHS! Jason officially has a job. He has been out of work for 3 weeks. This is a huge answer to prayer since Jason has been under stress since August 16th last year when First Charter Bank announced Fifth/Third Bank's buy-out of them.

Since last month, the baby has been getting SO BIG. She has shown me just how big she is by stretching her body out and showing me her feet and hands on opposite sides of my belly. She can often be found playing "xylophone on Mommy's ribs."

Saturday, when Jason was sitting and talking to me about his crown molding project and what he plans to do, the baby thrust herself to the right of my belly. I told Jason she was listening to him talk, but after several thrusts to the right, I took that back and told him she was trying to get to him. I could literally feel her feet on the left side of my stomach and a second later her head on the right. I think she will be a "Daddy's girl." Sunday was more of the same; she would hear or feel Jason next to me and push herself toward him.

I believe she is starting to position herself. This means that her head is mostly down and her bottom up near my ribs. Her feet are on the left of my stomach, often pushing on my left hip :)
She should be about 19 inches long, and about 5 pounds right now. I have another docotor's appointment on Thursday to meet the last doctor in the practice. I will take the final copy of our birthing plan to put in my chart then.
