Updates

Hello all! I have been meaning to post pictures/videos for a while now. No excuses; just an apology.

Happy Valentines's Day, my Love! Sorry about the rotten picture, but it realy shows off her hair that's finally starting to grow back.

Chloe has been to her pediatrician for her 6 month appointment. You will see Jason with her in the office. Dr. Condrey said she was in the 10-25th percentile in height and weight, and in the 5-10th percentile in head circumference (I say this is because she has put everything on hold to learn how to crawl.) Her head was 16" around, she was 25" long and 14.4 pounds. Dr. Condrey was very impressed with her "advanced" gross motor skills. Since Chloe's been concentrating on crawling, she has completely stopped babbling. I mentioned this to her doctor and she said we should watch, but it should start back after she's gotten a handle on moving around. This past week, she HAS been doing more talking, thank goodness!

Random pictures of her and Daddy! Nice smile; she really looks like a Hillbilly (teeth missing and all).

Chloe has been crawling so much everyday. She has gotten really fast. She has also been starting to pull up on things and people. When we sit on the floor with her, she will crawl to us, put her hands on a leg, then pull up to standing. She will even, then, move her hands to an arm or shoulder. She is so mobile now; Jason and I are so proud of her!

Chloe's most recent accomplishment is forming a new tooth! Tonight, after feeding her green beans, I was wiping her mouth and doing my general sweep of her mouth and felt something very sharp in her mouth. I immediately knew that we had ourselves a tooth! Very exciting for me and Jason. Not so exciting for Chloe who has been working on this tooth for about 2 months and she was also not very happy tonight with both Jason and me sticking our fingers in her mouth just to get another feel. Sorry Chloe, Baby!

A very merry 1/2 birthday to Chloe!

Chloe turn 1/2 year today (6 months). It seems like it went so fast. I just can't believe it. I keep trying to remember how little, light, and sleepy she was when we first brought her home from the hospital. Jason and I were just talking about how we would struggle to get her awake enough to eat and then the tactics we would use to keep her awake. I won't go into details because her aunts and grandmother would hate me! But, in my defense, it was doctor's orders that she had to eat and gain weight.
Pictures and videos to follow.
